Sunburnt at Tallebudgera Creek

Sunburnt at Tallebudgera Creek
Original acrylic on stretch canvas artwork by Michelle Grayson.

I thoroughly enjoyed painting my detailed Naive style painting of popular Gold Coast destination, Tallebudgera Creek.

Family holidays at Tallebudgera Creek are etched in my memory. Watching big and little kids squeal with delight as they leap off the bridge into the creek. The coastal landscape dotted with beach umbrellas, striped cool cabanas, boogie boards, families and backpackers. The squawking of Cockatoos in our wonderful native foliage. The hum of the tiger moth planes flying overhead, the sound of waves crashing, motor boats, distant laughter and the scent of sunscreen linger in the air as families picnic, paddleboarders glide past and kids build sandcastles nearby. The hum of summer, the warmth of connection and the natural beauty make every Gold Coast getaway a treasured slice of paradise and one I hope I've captured in Sunburnt at Tallebudgera Creek
